AEC/Noix ACL

This project consisted of installing a subscription manager and access control list to an already-developed website. The site needed 4 levels of subscription, each with different access to various areas of site. The owner also wanted to use Paypal WPP as payment processor.

In order to accomplish this I installed AEC Subscription Manager and NOIX ACL. In addition, I used MetaMod to control the placement of menus.

AEC:

AEC was setup with 4 different plans, including one that was a "free" plan. I also used a Paypal Sandbox account to fully test the payment capabilities of the system.

NOIX:

NOIX was used to create 4 different user levels: Demo, Premium, Premier and Premium Live. This could then be assigned to the appropriate AEC plans, ensuring that the user could only access the areas of the site in which the user subscribed.

NOIX was also used to customize the individual items in the menu.

MetaMod:

MetaMod was used to have different menus (not just items), based on whether the user was logged in.

The core registration HTML was also modified to customize the text to create a consistent subscription process.
